Do you really offer free estimates and measurements?
Yes. We come out, walk the property with you, take measurements, and give you a straight answer on options and cost — no charge and no obligation. Start with the online project builder or call (406) 551-6772.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Bozeman and work throughout Southwest Montana — Gallatin Valley, Paradise Valley (Livingston, Emigrant, Pray, Gardiner), Big Sky, Belgrade, Big Timber, Three Forks, and the surrounding counties. If you're outside those areas, call — we regularly travel for the right project.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificates #387299IC and #402027IC and Montana Construction Contractor Registration #281253, and we're fully insured.
Can you build in winter?
Often, yes. Jackleg fencing doesn't require posts driven into frozen ground, so it can go up nearly year-round. Gates, archway fabrication, stone masonry prep, sawmilling, and interior work also continue through winter. For post-driven fencing we'll assess ground conditions and schedule honestly.
How do I know which fence type is right for my property?
It comes down to what the fence needs to do: contain cattle or horses, keep wildlife out, mark a boundary, or make an entrance look right. Terrain, snow load, wind, and budget all factor in. Tell us what you're managing and we'll recommend the right build — that's part of the free estimate.
Where do your materials come from?
We use heavy-duty posts, rails, wire, and steel selected for Montana conditions, and we run our own sawmilling operation for custom timber. Archways are built with local logs and lumber whenever possible.
How far out are you scheduling?
It varies by season — spring and summer book up fastest. Get your estimate request in early; smaller repair jobs can often be fit in between larger builds.
Do you handle projects beyond fencing?
Yes. Ranch entrances and automatic gates, stone masonry, cattle guards, hay sheds and livestock shelters, pole barns, decks, concrete, road building and repair, excavation, demolition, welding, and snow removal. If it improves a ranch, we probably do it.
